AKURAT.CO realme will introduce the realme 8i as a 120Hz smartphone and the first Helio G96 in Indonesia for under IDR 3 million. A device that carries the slogan “120Hz. Powerfully Smooth” will be officially launched on November 24, 2021.
“With a price below Rp. 3 million, realme 8i will be the most powerful 4G smartphone in its price segment, and of course this technology can be enjoyed by everyone,” said Palson Yi, Marketing Director of realme Indonesia in a written statement received by Akurat.co.
This 120Hz refresh rate technology is the first in the mid-range segment from realme that can produce ultra-smooth screen transitions and movements. In addition to the 120Hz display, the realme 8i is also powered by the Helio G96, a powerful 4G chipset from MediaTek.
Having two large A75 cores and six small A55 cores, the Helio G96 main frequency can reach up to 2.05GHz. When combined with a 120Hz screen refresh rate, the Helio G96 will be a G9 series chipset that can support 120Hz displays. Thanks to this innovation, realme 8i can also deliver a super smooth mobile gaming experience.
In the power sector, realme 8i is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery for long endurance. In addition to the realme 8i, realme will also present an entry-level smartphone, namely the realme C25Y.
This device carries the slogan “50MP AI Camera, Fun All Day” which will represent a major upgrade of realme in the C series family. Equipped with a 50MP camera, realme C25Y will make it easier to take detailed photos.
