Earlier this month, Indian tech YouTuber Sahil Karoul claimed that realme would announce the realme Pad on September 9. Previously, a number of realme fans speculated that the tablet is expected to arrive with Snapdragon 8-series or 7-series chipsets.
However, it was revealed by Karoul that the tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. Now, the tablet made by realme has been spotted on the benchmark site Geekbench. We can see from the Geekbench list that the realme Pad will indeed arrive with the Helio chipset.
Previously, on several certification sites such as IMDA Singapore, EEC Europe, BIS India, and NBTC Thailand that the realme Pad had the model number RMP2102. Now, the same device has appeared on the benchmarking site Geekbench. The listing reveals that the tablet is powered by MediaTek’s MT6769V/CU chipset.
Carrying an Octa-core CPU, it includes six cores running at 1.80 GHz and two cores with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz. Yes! From these clues it is enough to confirm that the realme Pad will indeed be powered by the Helio G80 which was introduced by MediaTek last year.
Furthermore, we can also see that the realme Pad will have 4 GB of RAM and run on the Android 11 operating system. It is very likely that the operating system will be coated with the realme UI designed specifically for tablets.
From Geekbech testing, realme Pad recorded a score of 326 points in the Single-core test and 1144 points in the Multi-core test. Previous reports have revealed that the realme Pad is a tablet that measures 246 x 156 x 6.8 mm and has a 10.4-inch AMOLED panel that offers a 60Hz refresh rate.
Realme’s first tablet is also expected to be armed with an 8 MP front camera and on the back there will be an 8 MP camera with Autofocus support. Meanwhile, for the power supply, it is estimated that realme will immerse a 7,100 mAh battery. The tablet is likely to arrive with 64 GB of internal storage.
