Realme in the Philippines presented the brand new Note series, but unlike many of its competitors, it is aimed at the very basic mobile phone segment. The manufacturer set the price really low. Nevertheless, you can look forward to a 6.74″ IPS display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness reaches 560 nits. The body can even boast a slightly increased IP54 resistance. The novelty will not be affected by rain or splashing water, for example.
The hardware is very compromising and relies on a Unisoc T612 processor with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Most likely, there will also be support for memory cards. The battery in the phone has a very decent capacity of 5,000 mAh, while only 10W wired charging is supported. It is necessary to take into account that charging the entire phone will be a matter of several hours.
The main camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels is located on the back of the phone. Of course, it has automatic focus and an illumination diode. There is also a secondary lens, which, however, cannot do much with only a QVGA resolution. The environment is provided by the older Android 13, and its security is taken care of, for example, by the fingerprint reader on the right side of the mobile phone.
The Realme Note 50 will go on sale first in the Philippine market and the price has been set surprisingly low. In conversion, it amounts to less than 2 thousand crowns, so it will be one of the cheapest smartphones. Realme has not announced international availability at the moment, but it is very likely that it will happen soon.
