Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth retweeted MediaTek’s post about the Dimensity 810 and asked if customers and fans wanted the phone maker to be the first to bring a Dimensity 810-powered device to market.
While Sheth didn’t divulge anything about the Dimensity 810-powered Realme smartphone, the device in question is likely to be Realme 8s which leaked last month.
The report claims that the Realme 8s will pack a 6.5-inch 90Hz display, although it doesn’t reveal the type and resolution of the panel and whether it will have a punch-hole or a notch.
Realme 8s has three cameras in it. The main camera uses a 64MP sensor, but there is no information about the other two units yet.
For selfie and video calling cameras, the Realme 8s is said to have a 16MP unit, and under the hood there will be a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
The Realme 8s will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box and have two RAM options – 6GB and 8GB. GSM Arena, Thursday (12/8/2021).
It will also come with a virtual RAM expansion feature called Dynamic RAM Expansion (DRE) in the realm of Realme.
The Realme 8s will have 128GB or 256GB storage options, support 5G connectivity, and feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C port.
