Realm hope that young Indonesians can taste new technology without spending money. Powerful moves have been prepared to realize this.
Krisva Angnieszca, Public Relations Lead for Realme Indonesia, said that his party wants young people to have limits in trying out new innovations. Because of that, they bring flagship HP features to the midrange.
This step has already been realized in Realm 11 Pro Plus. The 200 MP camera that was previously installed on cellphones costs double digits, to Rp. 6 million.
“We focus on loving everything that was in the flagship, we really lower it (to the mid range). We don’t want to make young people rich have limitations trying new innovations,” said Krisva.
Not limited to the number series, the same strategy is also applied to the Realme C Series. This cellphone is now equipped with features that were previously available on midrange devices.
“So we want each price class to be able to experience features that are one level above it,” said Krisva
It was previously reported that Realme had sold 20 million devices for five years in Indonesia.
Of the many models launched, the Realme C series is the best on the market. According to Krisva, this is inseparable from the purchasing power of the people who buy a lot of entry-level devices.
Even so, this Chinese vendor saw an increase in the serial number. It started with Realme 9 which was released in February 2023. The upward trend then continued in Realme 10 earlier this year.
“We see that the serial number has increased, although the number is not that big. This means that our serial number has enthusiasts,” said Krisva.
On its 5th anniversary, Realme claims commitment to its original mission of putting the user at the heart and increasing investment in research and development in six key areas: Display, Imaging, Gaming, Charging, Chipset and Craftsmanship.
