Chinese brand Realme lately it grows like out of water. After success in the middle class, Realme is now starting to focus on higher market segments, where it is going to attack with the same weapons, ie a great price-performance ratio. The result of Realme’s efforts to occupy the upper middle class is a pair of phones called the GT Explorer Master Edition and the GT Master Edition. What will they offer?
The GT Explorer Master Edition smartphone follows the flagship Realme GT, as it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset with up to 12 GB of RAM. The second new GT Master Edition relies on a change to the Snapdragon 778 chipset 5G combined with 8 GB RAM.
For both models, we also find an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1100 nits and HDR10 + support. Also worth mentioning are Dolby Atmos-certified stereo speakers. GT Master Edition also offers a 32Mpx selfie camera and a 64Mpx main camera. In the GT Explorer Master Edition, on the other hand, we find the 50Mpx Sony IMX766 main camera with optical image stabilization.
The price of the Realme GT Master Edition starts at $ 399 (approx. 8,600 crowns) for the 6 GB RAM / 128 GB internal memory version, while the more equipped variant with 12 GB RAM / 256 GB internal memory costs $ 449 (approx. 9,600 crowns). The Realme GT Explorer Master Edition then costs $ 499 (approx. CZK 10,700) in the 8 GB RAM / 128 GB internal memory version, or $ 549 (approx. CZK 11,800) in the 12 GB RAM / 256 GB internal memory version. According to the available information, the GT Master Edition model should also target the Czech market at an unspecified price.
