Realme denies cheating the Realme GT performance test results at AnTuTu

Suara.com – Realme has denied cheating in performance tests on the benchmark platform Antutu for his newest cellphone Realme GT. The Chinese brand claims all data shown in the test is accurate.

“Realme GT is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 888 5G platform, bringing high performance to users. The benchmark score of Realme GT is all accurate data under the current version of the Antutu benchmark,” said Realme in its official statement as reported by NDTV, Wednesday (17/3) / 2021).

“Realme has always been committed to delivering excellent performance to users, a true user experience is Realme’s top priority,” the company added.

Previously, it was reported that the AnTuTu benchmark platform officially removed Realme GT from its benchmark platform for three months. This was done because Realme was suspected of cheating and manipulating performance results.

Realme has previously posted AnTuTu benchmark results with a score of more than 750,000. This result is much higher than a smartphone with another Snapdragon 888 chipset, the Xiaomi Mi 11.

AnTuTu said that Realme GT manipulated the results through its multithreaded platform test. The company uses threats delay to use the fastest CPU cores. This tactic helps phones receive higher-yielding benchmark scores.

In addition, AnTuTu also accused Realme GT of modifying the reference image in the photo test. This is said to help the phone reduce its image processing time and achieve higher scores.

Realme GT is said to use mosaic color blocks to reduce image quality and make the image process faster.

According to AnTuTu, the fraud was against the objective of providing appropriate benchmark results. As a result, AnTuTu decided that the phone should leave the benchmark list.
