Realme C12 is a cheap smartphone that tempts with a huge battery available at an affordable price. It is worth paying attention to this model because of several improvements that we will not find in the Realme C11.
Realme has taken a specific direction in creating cheap smartphones, as evidenced by the premiere of three C-series phones. Available in Poland Realme C11, more advanced Realme C15 and new Realme C12 are outstanding budget members with a common denominator.
It is a combination of a large battery and square islands for cameras, which have clearly gained popularity. All mentioned phones also use the new MediaTek Helio G35 chip, cheap gaming processor.
What does Realme C12 have in it?
Realme has decided that the C12 will be a transition stage between the very cheap C11 and the better equipped C15. In its specification, we can find above all battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh with the option to charge other devices.
The cell is huge and should easily power the phone for two days, but Realme has decided to save money in terms of fast charging. Standard power supply has power only 10 W, which means more than two hours of replenishment. Faster charging (18 W) is only expected Realme C15.
Another feature promoted in Realme C12 is triple camera with lenses arranged inside a square frame. It doesn’t look bad, but it’s also nice, although you have to admit that Realme can quickly fit into visual trends – islets are now commonplace.
The main unit has a resolution of 13 MP and is supported by two 2 MP mesh. Realme emphasizes the presence of HDR and night mode, but I was disappointed that there is no lens with a wide field of view on board. In this price range, however, it is an unpleasant standard.
As I mentioned, Realme is responsible for the performance MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which has support from 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of memory with the option of expansion. The C12 received 1 GB RAM more than the C11, which should significantly affect the operation of applications.
The C12 specification is also complemented by a fingerprint reader, which cannot be found in the C11. In addition, we get a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution, a 5 MP selfie camera and Android 10 with Realme UI.
