realme continues to surprise by expanding its device portfolio. Now, realme is said to be targeting the laptop and tablet market. Even realme executives have shared teasers of these soon to be introduced devices, the realme Book and the realme Pad.
Although realme has teased by showing the device, but realme has not revealed the specifications and features. However, details about the first laptop from realme, the realme Book have been leaked on the internet and the reveal is the Digital Chat Station.
Through the Weibo social network, Digital Chat Station wrote that the realme Book will be powered by an 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. These Tiger Lake U-series processors are manufactured using a 10nm SuperFin that packs four cores and has a maximum frequency of 4.2GHz.
This processor is also integrated with the Intel Iris Xe GPU which has a maximum frequency of 1.3GHz. This laptop is expected to have a 14-inch Full HD screen and is equipped with aluminum material. In terms of design, this laptop looks very similar to the Apple MacBook Air.
Digital Chat Station added that realme Book will be armed with a Thunderbolt 4 port and will run the Windows 10 operating system. Consumers don’t need to worry, realme Book also has high compatibility and is ready to get Windows 11.
realme is also said to promise an ecosystem of interconnected devices with smartphones, laptops, and tablets. This is as we can see in the recently launched realme GT Master Edition, where the smartphone has been equipped with interconnection features for many, one of which is cross-device file transfer.
realme was previously rumored to be launching the realme GT series in the Indian market on August 18. From the teaser shared by Madhav Sheth, the CEO of realme India and Europe hints that the first realme laptop may also be officially launched on the same date.
