Realme held three simultaneous product presentation events in China, India and Europe today. It is one of the biggest initiatives of the Chinese company created by OPPO in 2018 and which, however, is already asserting itself in the global market mobile.
The manufacturer, which is part of the BBK Electronics group which OnePlus, OPPO and Vivo are part of, has now introduced us to its new Windows notebook. More specifically, the Realme Book (or Book Slim), an elegant and compact product with a 14-inch screen.
The new 14” Realme Book portable PC has arrived
The new Realme Book stands out for its 14-inch IPS LCD screen, metallic construction and elegant, incorporating 11th generation Intel processors. The operating system is Windows 10, with an autonomy that can reach 11 hours per charge.
The construction is another of its selling points, asserting itself as quality premium. To this is added the availability of the notebook in gray (metallic) as well as in shades of blue, both with slim profile and metallic construction.
It also stands out for its screen with a maximum brightness of 400 nits, a Full-HD resolution of 1440 x 2160 pixels, 3:2 format and IPS LCD technology. The coverage of the sRGB color space is full (100%), with a slim and very discreet frame.
The construction is metallic and the discreet profile is 14.9 mm thick.
The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass for added durability, showing good features for the standard required in 2021. It also has a slightly tall (3:2) format that is particularly appealing for reading documents and working.
However, it is its processor that guarantees an overall experience worthy of note. More specifically, here we have the 11th generation Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors in the configurations available for the Realme Book.
Added to this is the Iris XE graphics integrated into the processor. We also have dual fans on Realme Books, as well as 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM memory, as well as 512GB of internal PCIe SSD storage on new notebooks.

Realme has also placed a lot of emphasis on the connectivity of their new notebook. In practice, we have a USB Type C USB 3 port, USB Type C USB 4/thunderbolt port, as well as a USB Type A port. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack port.
The Realme Book notebook even features stereo speakers with the expertise of Harman Kardon.
As far as you are concerned, the present software is the Windows 10 operating system with a free upgrade to Windows 11 as soon as it becomes available. Finally, we also have the PC Connect platform to connect your smartphone to your PC via Wi-Fi Direct.
11-hour battery life on Realme Book laptops
Battery life can reach 11 hours on new Realme notebooks. This is possible thanks to the 54 Wh battery that powers the new PC. What’s more, in the box we have a 65 W charger that will be able to charge from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes.
This is a fast charge standard comparable to the Dart Charge used by the Chinese manufacturer in its smartphones. Therefore, they will also be able to use this charger to charge the latest smartphones and vice versa.
The price of the Realme Book starts at the equivalent of €538
The model with Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage starts at the equivalent of $632 or 538 euros in India. Then, the version with Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage costs the equivalent of US$807 or 687 euros at the current exchange rate.
In China, the version with Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage costs the equivalent of 663 dollars or 565 euros.
Finally, the top version with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage – Intel Core i5 processor – will cost the equivalent of $725 or 617 euros in China.
The values for Europe have not yet been defined, with sales to other markets starting next week, starting on August 25th.
