After OPOO, now it’s his brother’s turn, Realme, which is preparing a folding smartphone, as reported by GSMArena. This was confirmed directly by Madhav Sheth, realm VP and President of realm International via his personal Twitter.
In his Twitter post, Madhav asked his followers for their opinion, whether they prefer a flip-style clamshell folding phone (Realme Flip) or a larger book-style folding phone (Realme Fold).
Previously, rumors about a realme foldable phone had been circulating for years. However, Realme is still focused on ordinary smartphones.
Until the rumors were proven true and confirmed directly by Madhav Sheth. However, Madhav has not disclosed detailed information about this realme folding cellphone.
Meanwhile, at the MWC 2023 event in Barcelona which just ended last week, realme Vice President and President of realme Global Marketing Chase Xu, said that currently realme is developing a folding screen Android smartphone in the form of vertical and horizontal folds. According to him, Realme is still conducting research to release an Android smartphone in a vertical fold (fold) and horizontal fold (fold) version to be launched on the market.
For foldable smartphones, it will be named the GT 2 Fold realm. As for flip phones, there is no official name yet.
