realme Indonesia released a new cellphone that relies on a 120 Hz screen for Rp. 2 million. Here are the specifications Realme 8i which will be the closing product in 2021.
Palson Yi, Marketing Director of Realme Indonesia, said that the Realme 8i was the first 120Hz screen with a price below Rp. 3 million.
“Realme 8i is defined as an ultra-smooth and ultra-powerful smartphone setting the standard for mid-range smartphones,” Palson said in a virtual press conference, Wednesday (24/11).
Unlike the 5G Realme 8, the Realme 8i is said to be using the MediaTek Helio G96 4G chipset.
The Realme 8i screen has a 120Hz refresh rate with an adjustable brightness level of up to 1 nit on a 6.6-inch FHD screen. Realme 8i also provides a side fingerprint sensor as well as facial recognition features.
Using a 12nm production process, the Helio G96 has a configuration of two A75 cores and six A55 cores having a main frequency of up to 2.05GHz and an Arm Mali-G57 which provides great graphics performance.
With this configuration, Realme 8i is able to provide a seamless experience for mobile game lovers at an affordable price.
The phone is also equipped with triple cameras with a 50MP (f/1.8) main lens, along with a B&W lens, and a Macro lens. The selfie camera is provided with a 16MP resolution. In addition to performance, Realme 8i comes in two memory configurations, namely 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. The 6GB + 128GB memory variant supports up to 5GB virtual memory.
One of the advantages of the Realme 8i that is highlighted is the large 5000mAh battery. According to realme Lab testing, realme 8i can last for 28 days in standby mode, 47 hours non-stop for calling, 40 hours for playing music, 11 hours on YouTube or 8 hours for MLBB.
In addition to saving power, the Realme 8i is also equipped with 18W fast charging, and it only takes about 36 minutes to charge the smartphone battery up to 50 percent.
