Realme today presented the key novelty of the upper middle class Realme 12 Pro+. A stylish-looking mobile phone attracts, for example, a curved display or a back with a leatherette finish. The bitten AMOLED display has a 6.7″, Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness can reach a respectable 950 nits.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 takes care of performance, which should be sufficient even for more demanding users. You can also choose between 8/12GB LPDDR4X RAM. Internal memory can be 128/256 GB. This is UFS 3.1 type storage. The phone is equipped with the very latest Android 14, the security of which is ensured by the fingerprint reader directly in the display.
The main camera has 50 megapixels and optical image stabilization. He should thus achieve very decent results in his class. On the contrary, an ultra-wide-angle lens with only 8 megapixels does not do much good. On the contrary, the Omnivision OV64B periscope lens with 64 megapixels and the option of 3x lossless zoom looks attractive. By combining that and the digital zoom, the phone can zoom in up to 120x. The list of cameras ends with a front 32-megapixel camera.
In other equipment, stereo speakers or of course 5G support can be interesting. The battery today has a traditional capacity of 5,000 mAh and fast 67W wired charging is supported. It didn’t get wireless charging, and Realme doesn’t even mention increased durability, which is a bit of a shame.
The Realme 12 Pro+ will go on sale in the Indian and Chinese markets, with the price set at around 12,000 crowns including taxes for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Global availability has not yet been announced.
