Realme is preparing to launch the Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G phones in India on Wednesday (March 6). Before the launch, leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore leaked the pricing details of both the models in India.
According to the screenshot shared by the leaker, the Realme 12 5G version, which offers 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, will be priced at 18,999 Indian rupees, or around 7,000 Egyptian pounds, and will be available in two color options: violet and forest green. On the other hand, the Realme 12+ 5G variant that offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will be priced at INR 22,999. It will also have two color options: navy beige and green.
Around 7,000 pounds…the prices of new Realme phones
The Realme 12 5G recently appeared on Geekbench, giving us a glimpse of its specifications. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. The regular version has a 5,000 mAh battery and features a 108-megapixel main rear camera.
Although we are still waiting for more details about the Realme 12 5G, the Realme 12+ 5G has already arrived in Indonesia. The Realme 12+ 5G features a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED display with FHD+ display quality, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,000 nits peak luminance.
It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, and runs on the Realme UI 5.0 interface based on the Android 14 operating system.
In terms of photography, the Realme 12+ 5G features a triple camera setup – a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro sensor and there is a 16MP front camera. It comes with a 5000 mAh battery, and supports 67W fast charging using SuperVOOC fast recharging technology.
