A 90Hz screen
In terms of design, Realme 10s is very close to the classic Realme 10. It maintains the same straight edges as well as the photo sensors integrated directly into the back of the device. Given its price positioning, it ditches the screen punch in favor of a teardrop notch.
As for the screen itself, we are dealing with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 401 dpi. The panel still benefits from a 90Hz refresh rate and 400nit brightness.
5G and good autonomy
Under the hood, the Realme 10s houses a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC engraved at 6nm. If it is indeed an entry-level chip, it still offers 5G compatibility. The SoC is supported by 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The mobile includes a large 5000mAh battery which should provide a very solid autonomy. It is compatible with 33W fast charging which should allow it to reach 50% charge in 33 minutes according to the manufacturer. On the software side, we are entitled to Android 12 with the Realme UI 3.0 overlay.
A decent photo sensor
For photography, the Realme 10s mostly relies on a single lens with a secondary sensor to improve focus. This dual rear camera then includes:
- A 50-megapixel main module that opens to f/1.8;
- A 0.3 megapixel depth sensor that opens to f/2.8.
For self-portraits, we are entitled to an 8 megapixel front lens with an aperture of f/2.0. On the video side, the mobile can record in 1080p at 30fps.
Price and availability Realme 10s
The Realme 10s smartphone is available in China at a price of 1099 yuan for 128GB of storage and 1299 yuan for 256GB of storage, which after conversion give respectively about €150 and €175 excluding taxes. While we still don’t have information on its release in France, we can still expect the starting price of the product to not exceed €200.
