THE HAGUE – It will be a beautiful, spacious, accessible to all, modern, economical and beautiful thing. This is what HTM director Jaap Bierman says about the new trams that will run in The Hague from 2026. On Friday he signed the contract with the Swiss tram manufacturer Stadler for the delivery of 56 trams under the TINA brand. “It has very large windows, it is a light tram with a completely low floor, which makes it accessible for everyone, for people with disabilities or for large wheelchairs,” Bierman says proudly.
