The American reality series The Real Housewives will receive a Dutch version. Streaming service Videoland will follow seven wealthy Amsterdam ‘housewives’ next autumn The Real Housewives of Amsterdam.
The seven Dutch participants are Cherry-Ann Person, Djamila Celina, Hella Huizinga, Kimmylien Nguyen, Maria Tailor, Sheila Bergeik and Susanna Klibansky.
The concept of The Real Housewives is originally from the United States. There are already thirty editions and several spin-offs all over the world. Luxury, wealth and drama are central to the series.
On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The originally Dutch Yolanda Hadid participated for four seasons. Hadid is the mother of supermodels Gigi and Bella. Daniëlle Oerlemans was almost featured in this series. Reinout Oerlemans’ wife has been asked twice to participate, she revealed in 2020 in The Parool.
