Laenoric shared his find on reddit. He noted that he did not install modifications to change models. At the same time, in the standard version of the game, the genitals of the courted female characters were hidden. After a while, this was noticed by major gaming publications. Journalists turned to the developers with a request to comment on the situation.
According to representatives of CD Projekt RED, when working on the update, they used some mods created by the community. The process of combining all the materials proved to be time consuming, which resulted in unintended genital textures appearing in the game. In a comment to Kotaku, the developers clarified that they will replace them in future updates.
