Real: Star deletes explosive WhatsApp message – it was about Kylian Mbappé and Co. | Football

Apparently this did not go down well with everyone…

Champions Real Madrid could only manage a 1:1 draw with RCD Mallorca in the first game of the new season in the Spanish La Liga. The only goal for the Royals in the match was scored by Rodrygo (23) – the Brazilian scored the lead in the 13th minute.

Afterwards, the top striker made a claim in a WhatsApp message – but this displeased some people, so Rodrygo even had to delete it…

“You have to include Rodrygo too”

According to Mario Cortegana, Real Madrid reporter at the renowned site The Athletic, Rodrygo wrote the following in the message: “Yesterday’s result was not what I wanted. In La Liga, every point makes a difference in the end. I am happy with the goal and the team’s development.”

Then comes the controversial part, which Rodrygo has since had to delete: “Last week we talked about the trio of Bellingham, Mbappé and Vini, but now we have to add Rodrygo’s R. We have the attacking quartet and the rest of the team. Each of them is important in the games and will prove themselves in the different competitions we will be taking part in. It will be a busy week until the next game at the Bernabeu.”

The clear message between the lines: Not only should the team’s absolute superstars, Jude Bellingham (21), Kylian Mbappé (25) and Vinicius Jr. (24) be discussed, but also about him! However, this apparently bothered others and sparked a controversy. He was then asked to delete the message. He has now apparently complied with this clear request.

Real Madrid and the sensitivities of its stars…

Rodrygo has been playing for Realhas a market value of around 110 million euros according to “transfermarkt.de”. Last season he repeatedly proved his worth with 17 goals and nine assists in 51 games, scoring in both Champions-Leaguequarter-finals against Manchester City and won a penalty in the 2-2 semi-final first leg against Bayern.

But he is apparently not yet in the spheres of Bellingham, Mbappé, Vinicius and Co. …
