A strange scene spread widely during the past hours, of a strong thunderbolt hitting a car in one of the Saudi regions, perplexed the users of the communication sites.
The video showed a lightning bolt hitting a vehicle that was apparently carrying a group of young men on a wild trip, but its driver survived.
The spokesman said in the popular clip, that the lightning bolt fell on the “Ariel” signal column of the communication device for land trips, which was installed on the top of the car, and also struck the mirror, and the electricity was withdrawn from the car.
Meanwhile, a group of young men appeared to be meeting for breakfast near the flow of a torrential rain.
While reactions and opinions differed about the realism of the scene, especially since it was unbelievable, and many suggested that it was complex.
Most regions of Saudi Arabia are witnessing, during these days, thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rains, and the National Center of Meteorology expected that spring thunderstorms will continue in most regions of the Kingdom, starting next Friday until Tuesday, April 18.
The Meteorological Center stated, through its official account on Twitter, its rain forecasts, which included the regions of Al-Baha, Asir, Jazan, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Al-Qassim, Najran, Riyadh, Al-Sharqiya, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and Al-Sharqiya.
