Real Madrid want star striker Erling Braut Haaland from Dortmund in the summer. No price seems too high.
Erling Braut Haaland is summer’s hottest transfer share! The ex-Salzburg has been playing big in the Dortmund jersey for months. On Saturday, the Norwegian tied a brace in the 2: 4 against Bayern – it was his competitive goals number 99 and 100. The 20-year-old only needed 146 games to crack the magic mark. For comparison: Lionel Messi was only in three digits after 210 games, Cristiano Ronaldo after 301.
Real Madrid are therefore stepping up efforts to lure Haaland to Spain. The always well-informed newspaper “As” wrote: “If the commitment of Erling Haaland had previously been a priority, it has now become a matter of state.”
The market value of the super striker is estimated at 110 million euros. His obligation would be much more expensive. BVB would have to put around 150 million euros in transfer fee to buy Haaland out of its contract, which runs until 2024. In addition there would be a salary of 20 million euros per year.
If the “white ballet” pulls the deal, David Alaba would have to look for other alternatives. Because the fact that Real can afford two top stars in the summer seems unrealistic from a financial point of view.
