Real Madrid reportedly already made moves to bring in Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint Germain. However, El Real did not want to fulfill Les Parisiens’ demand for money.
Mbappe’s future at PSG is still being speculated on. The 24-year-old player has been frozen out of the PSG squad for the Asian tour.
Mbappe’s contract with PSG will end in June 2024. This means PSG will lose Mbappe for free if they cannot extend the duration of his contract.
That’s what PSG wants to anticipate, selling Mbappe this summer. The reason is, the former AS Monaco player has refused to activate the contract extension clause for one more season.
PSG gives a tag of 250 million euros. There has been an offer from the Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal. They offered Mbappe 300 million euros, pinning a clause that he could move to Madrid. Mbappe is not interested in the offer.
The PSGtalk report stated that Madrid did not want to pay 250 million euros for Mbappe. They only want to pay 225 million euros to get Mbappe’s power.
If the offer is rejected, Madrid is ready to wait for next season so they can bring in Mbappe for free. Los Merengues can feel confident because Mbappe just want to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
This summer, Madrid has brought in one expensive player. They got Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund for 103 million euros.
