After the match between Granada and Real Madrid on Sunday, the Blancos will finally celebrate with their fans the 36th championship in the club’s history. Many wanted and hoped it would happen last night (Saturday) with the title assured, but Carlo Ancelotti had other plans.
The Italian does not want his players to get involved in celebrations when on Wednesday they have a Champions League semi-final second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu, and therefore denied the club the possibility of coming to Sibeles Square, also on the grounds that the desire is to celebrate after a game that took place on the grass and not due to the stumble of the bitter rival.
A festival like the one that Real Madrid is planning in Seville requires organization and preparation and Ancelotti explained: “It’s a different situation compared to what was two years ago, because this time the victory did not guarantee us a championship, we had to wait. At the time we beat Espanyol and won. Now we will get home and wait.”

The Blancos have already marked the game against Bayern with a red marker, and the players feel that they have the possibility to register one of the greatest seasons in the club’s history with a championship and Super Cup win and with only two losses throughout the season in all formats so far.
At the moment we don’t want to talk about celebrations, but the plan is that on Sunday afternoon there will be a big party with the fans, in the hope that by then qualification for the Champions League final at Wembley will be added to the celebration.
