Madrid conceded six goals in just the last two outings in LaLiga. After being conceded four times by Girona, Madrid’s goal conceded two goals in a 4-2 win over Almeria. That is also a concern Charles Ancelotti.
“I don’t understand that in two games we conceded six goals, we just relaxed,” Ancelotti said after the match against Almeria.
“We were 3-0 up, we lost our concentration and they scored a goal, it makes me angry… I hope this is a good alarm,” he said.
Overall, Madrid have conceded 30 goals in 32 matches in LaLiga. Meanwhile, their rivals, Barcelona, only conceded 11 goals in the league.
The loss of Madrid’s back line deserves Ancelotti’s attention. Moreover, City has Erling Haaland, who this season has scored 50 goals in all competitions.
