Madrid: Sex scandal again in Spanish football. Police arrested three youth players of Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid. Spanish police have arrested three young stars in the incident of having sex with a minor girl and spreading the footage through WhatsApp.
The 16-year-old girl was in a relationship with one of the three arrested stars. The sexual relationship was consensual. But without the child’s knowledge, he recorded the footage on his mobile phone. These were sent to fellow players through WhatsApp.
The action was taken on the complaint of a woman from Canary Island. They approached the police pointing out that the sexual videos of their 16-year-old daughter were being circulated. The sexual relationship was consensual. But the complaint states that the video was recorded without the child’s knowledge.
The players were released after being produced in court. The police also stated that their mobile phones were confiscated and the data was destroyed.
Spanish football boss Luis Rubiales was recently in controversy after publicly kissing Spanish star Jenny Hermoso on the lips during the Women’s World Cup prize-giving ceremony. Later, a huge protest against him took place in Spain. Rubiales was also stripped of the presidency after FIFA announced an investigation. The current controversy related to Real Madrid is before its waves end.
