Trainer Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, already knows the quality of its veteran players. Everyone still didn’t lose their hunger.
Ancelotti returned to coach Real Madrid for the second time after 2013 to 2015. Most of the current squad had been coached by Ancelotti.
The Italian coach did not hesitate to name players such as Dani Carvajal, Marcelo, Lucas Vazquez, Nacho Fernandez and Isco. All of them, who did not appear to strengthen the Spanish national team, still have hunger.
“We have worked a lot. The players have done very well,” Ancelotti was quoted as saying by Marca.
“There is a lot of quality in the young players and great commitment from the veterans. I really like the commitment of Carvajal, Nacho, Marcelo, Lucas and Isco, players who have won everything and still have the desire, enthusiasm and hunger to win.”
David Alaba is Madrid’s new signing under Ancelotti. The former Bayern Munich player does not know which position he will play in because he is a versatile player.
“Alaba is a complete player, with a lot of quality and tactically intelligent defensively,” added Ancelotti.
“I put him at centre-back in the last game (at Bayern Munich), sometimes he plays in midfield for the Austrian national team. He can also play on the left. He is a complete player who will do very well this season, ” he insisted.
Madrid on August 8 already has a pre-season schedule. AC Milan played against Los Blancos in the Athletes Versus Cup, which took place at Worthersee Stadium, Austria.
