Real Madrid | The law allows Madrid to sign Camavinga at 17 years old

The FIFA Players Transfer Statute, the standard by which all international football must be governed, allows Real Madrid to sign Camavinga before he turns 18 (in the next month of November). For this reason, for example, Rainier, Vinicius and Rodrygo were unable to complete their transfer until they reached that age. This statute, in section IV (Transfer of minor players) it is limited to the prohibition of the international transfer of minors under 18 years of age. But it establishes several caveats. i. Provide the player with adequate football training or training that corresponds to the best national standards.

ii. In addition to football training or training, guarantee the player academic or school training, or training or education and training according to their vocation, that allows them to start a non-football career in the event that they cease their professional player activity.

iii. Take all necessary measures to ensure that the player is assisted in the best possible way (optimal living conditions in a family or in club accommodation, provision of a tutor in the club, etc.).

Now, not only can be summoned by Deschamps for the absolute team (he has already played a game with the U21), but also he would not occupy an extra-community position in a squad, that of Real Madrid, loaded with them: now Vinicius, Reinier, Rodrygo, Militao, Kubo …
