Real Madrid defeated home host Elche with three goals to nil yesterday, Wednesday, in the tenth round of the Spanish football league.
Real Madrid opened the scoring with Uruguayan Federico Valverde, with a powerful shot from outside the box in the 11th minute, closing the first half with a score (1-0).

In the second half Real Madrid continued to dominate the game, scoring Winner of the Golden Ball, Karim Benzema The second goal in the 75th minute, and Marco Asensio ends the “Reale” hat-trick in the 89th minute.
The match saw Real Madrid score 3 goals, which were disallowed by the match referee for offside after resorting to VAR technology, and Karim Benzema scored two goals and David Alaba one goal.
Real Madrid raised the score with this win to 28 points at the top of the “La Liga” standings, and Elche’s balance was locked at 3 points in 20th (last) place.
