Real Madrid Signs Kepa Arrizabalaga on Loan as Replacement for Injured Courtois

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Real Madrid announced the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, from English club Chelsea, on loan until the end of the current season, after the injury of the main goalkeeper, Belgian Thibaut Courtois.

Real said in a press statement that the agreement with Chelsea to loan the goalkeeper has been completed, and that Kepa will play with the royal team until June 30 of 2024.

Kepa won the European Champions League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup and European League with Chelsea.

Real indicated that it will hold a presentation ceremony for Kiba at 1:30, on Tuesday.

The contract with Kiba comes after Courtois suffered a cruciate ligament injury and was absent for many months this season.
