Real Madrid President Florentino Perez Plans €120m Bid for Kylian Mbappé

The president of Real Madrid has decided that he wants to sign Kylian Mbappé this year, Sport Bild reported. Florentino Pérez plans to submit an offer of €120m only at the end of the transfer window to prevent Paris Saint-Germain from prolonging negotiations by negotiating for a higher sum.

Kylian Mbappé reconciled with the management of PSG and even played in Saturday’s match in Toulouse (1:1). There are rumors in Paris that the French striker could extend his contract, which ends in 2024. The new deal should contain a release clause, which would ensure that the player does not leave for free next summer and the Parisians will not be left empty-handed.

However, Real Madrid decided to reverse this situation. Florentino Pérez believes there is no point in waiting for another season as he will not be able to get him for free as he originally planned. The president of the “white ballet” intends to offer up to 120 million euros for the immediate transfer of the 24-year-old footballer.

Madrid have come up with a plan to make the offer just before the end of the transfer window, which ends on September 1, in order to ensure that PSG will not have room to negotiate for a higher fee. At the same time, they will prevent the Parisians from convincing Kylian Mbappé to sign a long-term contract during the 2023/24 season.

The “Royal Club” started the new season without Karim Benzema, who left for Saudi Arabia.

On Saturday, Real Madrid achieved their second league victory in a row, defeating Almería 3-1 away from home. Jude Bellingham showed excellent form in the match, scoring 2 goals. After the first two rounds of La Liga, the English midfielder has already scored 3 goals.
