Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga suffered a knee injury during Saturday’s La Liga game against Getafe (1-0).
The 20-year-old football player was injured after a rough blow from Juan Iglesias, and Carlo Ancelotti was forced to replace the Frenchman in the 84th minute of the match. Camavinga’s injury came just days before the important second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City. After the game, the “creamy” coach assured everyone that the midfielder would have time to recover and be able to enter the field in Manchester.
“This is a normal stroke and he will recover quickly. Everyone should be ready to face Manchester City. Camavinga has a bruise, but he should be fine. Tomorrow he will rest, like everyone else who played,” Ancelotti said.
