Madrid surprisingly lost 2-3 during the trip to the headquarters Vallecano radius, Tuesday (11/8/2022) early morning WIB. Real Madrid, left behind first, had taken the lead 2-1 thanks to goals from Luka Modric and Eder Militao.
Rayo then equalized thanks to Isi Palazon before Oscar Trejo’s penalty marked the victory. As a result, Madrid failed to overtake Barcelona from the top of the LaLiga standings.
Madrid remained in second place with 34 points, two points of difference from Barcelona. This is definitely a bad result for Real Madrid, who actually have a great chance of beating Rayo.
But this is football and Real Madrid must now end their unbeaten league title after three months. Previously, Real Madrid was able to achieve 10 wins and two draws.
Since Real have lost, there are only two teams in Europe that have been unbeaten in the league so far, namely Naples in series A and Paris Saint Germain by Ligue 1.

Coincidentally, they both top their respective rankings. Napoli have 11 wins and two draws from 13 games, while PSG has 12 wins and two draws from 14 games.
Looking at Napoli and PSG’s performances afterwards, it looks like their unbeaten streak will last until half-time at least World Cup 2022.
Napoli will meet Empoli and Udinese, while PSG will face Auxerre this weekend.
