Real Madrid Dominates LaLiga Standings in Week 28: Girona and Barcelona Far Behind

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Real Madrid is firmly at the top of the standings in Week 28 of the 2023/24 Spanish LaLiga and is far away from being chased by Girona and Barcelona in the race for the title.

Real Madrid’s achievement of full points increased after a landslide 4-0 win over Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu on Monday morning WIB.

Two of Real Madrid’s goals were scored via own suicide, with the other two coming from the feet of Vinicius JR and Arda Guler.

In this match, Madrid appeared without its mainstay player, Jude Bellingham, who was serving a suspension.

In another match, Barcelona won a narrow 1-0 victory at home to Mallorca. Barca’s winning goal was scored by their wonderkid Lamine Yamal.

Meanwhile Girona also still maintains their second position after beating Osasuna 2-0 thanks to goals from Savio and Pertu.

Atletico Madrid actually experienced bad results after they were beaten 0-2 by Cadiz through Juanmi Jimenez’s brace.
