TASS, November 9. Spanish Real Madrid defeated Portuguese Braga with a score of 3:0 in the fourth round of the group stage of the Champions League. The meeting took place at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.
Brahim Diaz (27th minute), Vinicius (58) and Rodrigo (61) scored goals. In the 6th minute, Braga footballer Alvaro Djalo missed a penalty.
In another Group C match, Italian Napoli and German Union drew 1:1. Real scored 12 points and guaranteed themselves access to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League. Second place in the group is taken by Napoli (7 points), followed by Braga (3) and Union (1).
In Group A, Germany’s Bayern secured a place in the playoffs. In the match of the fourth round of the group stage, the team from Munich defeated the Turkish Galatasaray with a score of 2:1 and scored 12 points, guaranteeing themselves first place.
In another match of the quartet, the Danish Copenhagen beat the English Manchester United with a score of 4:3. With the score 2:0 in favor of the Mancunians, English team player Marcus Rashford received a red card in the 42nd minute, and the hosts were able to equalize the score before the break.
