Real Madrid Denies Talks for Kylian Mbappe’s Transfer

The Spanish club Real Madrid denied the existence of any talks with Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint-Germain’s top scorer, regarding his transfer to the Royal Club.

Mbappe’s contract with the defending French League champions expires next summer, amid media speculation that he will move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

But Real Madrid denied reports of holding talks with this player, who won the World Cup with the Rooster team in 2018.

Real Madrid said in an official statement on Saturday: “In light of information recently published by the media alleging the existence of negotiations with Mbappe, the club confirms that this information is completely false and that there are no negotiations.”

Last June, Mbappe denied the report of the French newspaper Le Parisien, which claimed that he wanted to move to Real Madrid last summer, and confirmed his commitment to his contract with the French champions, which expires in the summer of 2024.

The player said, through his official account on the X website – today, Tuesday – in response to a tweet from the French newspaper, “The more lies they spread, the more they spread. I have already said that I will continue next season in Saint-Germain, where I feel very happy.”

The French national team captain extended his contract with the Parisian team in the summer of 2022 until next summer.
