In the match of the 8th round of La Liga, the 33-year-old football player received a straight red card in the 93rd minute for a rough tackle on Girona player Christian Porto. The midfielder of the Catalan team was taken from the field on a stretcher, but without serious injury.
After an additional investigation into the episode with the removal, Nacho was disqualified for three matches of the Spanish championship and received a fine of 600 euros. Real is obliged to pay a fine of 1,050 euros.
