Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said that midfielder Toni Kroos and winger Vinicius Junior can join Chelsea’s visit next week in the Champions League, after missing the 2-0 victory over Cadiz in the Spanish Premier League on Saturday.
Former Germany player Kroos and Brazil winger Vinicius, probably the most influential player in Real’s ranks this season, left the squad against modest Cadiz to recover from a muscle strain.
Ancelotti reported to reporters: They couldn’t play due to a minor problem.
He added: They trained separately, but on Sunday they can train in a normal way, and the two will be fine in Tuesday’s match.
Real is preparing to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the quarter-finals, after winning the first leg in Madrid 2-0 earlier this week.
Real occupies second place in the Spanish League, by ten points behind its rivals, leaders Barcelona, which has a match left.
