Real Madrid will be able to entertain Liverpool at the Estadio Alfred Di Stefano in the quarter-finals Champions League. UK travel restrictions will be relaxed.
Real Madrid will face Liverpool in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday (7/3/2021) early morning hrs. The location of this match had previously been questioned, because the Spanish government imposed restrictions on visits from England since December.
However as reported Sky Sports and BBC, Tuesday (23/3/2021), the regulation will begin to be relaxed as of 30 March. Therefore, Real Madrid will be able to entertain Liverpool at his headquarters namely Alfredo Di Stefano.
In addition, Granada will also be able to face Manchester United on Friday (9/4) in the morning WIB.
Previously, British restrictions on visits made Atletico Madrid play a home match against Chelsea in Bucharest. Similar restriction rules are implemented by Germany.
Therefore Manchester City will have to face Borussia Moenchengladbach in Budapest, as is the case Liverpool when dealing with RB Leipzig.
