At the end of their American pre-season tour, Real Madrid defeated Chelsea 2:1, with Brahim Díaz (25) having the biggest credit for that, who participated in both goals of the Spanish club. The Polish gunner Robert Lewandowski (35) also shone in the preparation, scoring twice in the AC Milan net.
Lucas Vázquez and Brahim Díaz gave Real the lead in the first half with two goals in the space of eight minutes. Even before the break, Chelsea were reduced thanks to Noni Madueke, but Enzo Maresca’s men could not equalise.
Spectators also saw three goals in quick succession in the match between Barcelona and AC Milan. To the great joy of the American fans, Christian Pulisic was at two of them, who in the 10th minute first recorded Luka Jovic’s opening goal and moments later made it 2-0 for AC Milan himself. However, in the 22nd minute, Robert Lewandowski scored and leveled the game at 2:2 before the hour mark.
After returning to Europe, both teams are waiting for warm-ups at home. Barcelona welcome Monaco on Monday, AC Monza a day later.
