Barça basketball was unable to beat Madrid in the semi-finals of the Super Cup (89-83). They came close, after reacting to an adverse score and tying with one minute to go (80-80), but in the end the victory slipped away. A game in which Parker (17 points) and Brizuela (14 points) were the top scorers for the culés, in the run-up – now yes – to the start of the Endesa League. A domestic competition that Barça will start next Sunday, at the Palau Blaugrana, against Coviran Granada (12.30 pm).
