In an official statement, Real Madrid announced the appointment of Jose Martinez Pere to the list of honorary presidents of the club, and the statement read: “Real Madrid CF announces that the board of directors, headed by Florentino Perez, has approved the proposal of the General Assembly of members to appoint Jose Martinez Pere as honorary president of Real Madrid.”
Jose Martinez Berry played for Real Madrid in 1964 from Granada, Spain, and he stayed with the Meringue for 16 years.
Jose Martinez Perry, accompanied by Real Madrid, won 10 La Liga titles, 4 Spanish King’s Cups, and one European Champions League title.
