Cohen’s Response and Glanville’s Allegations
Television personality Andy Cohen, well-known for his role on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live,” has responded to allegations made by former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star Brandi Glanville regarding an inappropriate video. Glanville’s lawyers sent a letter to NBCUniversal, Shed Media, and Warner Bros., accusing Cohen of sexual harassment and an abuse of power.
Glanville claimed to have received a video from Cohen back in 2022, in which he explained his intention to sleep with another Bravo star and inviting Glanville to watch via FaceTime. Cohen acknowledged that the video was “totally inappropriate,” but insisted that it was sent and received “in jest.”
Cohen’s Apology and Explanation
Cohen, in a statement on social media, explained that the video was a joke shared between him and cast member Kate Chastain from Bravo shows “Below Deck” and “The Traitors.” He apologized for the inappropriate nature of the video and expressed his regret for any discomfort it may have caused.
The Response from Glanville’s Attorneys
New York magazine approached Glanville’s lawyers for a comment on Cohen’s response. In their statement, Glanville’s lawyers addressed the broader issue of the reality TV industry’s abusive practices and encouraged other abused former cast members to come forward and seek legal redress.
Bryan Freedman and Mark Geragos, Glanville’s attorneys, are well-known in the industry for representing reality stars who have faced mistreatment and exploitation on major reality shows. They have previously handled cases involving mistreatment of reality stars and have accused networks of tolerating such behavior.
Glanville and Manzo: A Back-and-Forth Accusation
Glanville herself has recently faced allegations of sexual harassment from former ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Caroline Manzo. Manzo accused Glanville of forcibly kissing her and engaging in multiple instances of unwanted sexual behavior during the filming of a reality show. Manzo claimed that the producers were aware of the incidents but failed to intervene.
Glanville has denied the allegations made by Manzo.
