Focus on diversity
New York City is a colorful and diverse city, but “RHONY” hasn’t shown much of that so far – and it’s about time that changed. “We’re looking for a multicultural clique to represent the most exciting city in the country. We’re looking for real girlfriends from different backgrounds, religions or races,” revealed Cohen.
The spin-off is said to be a kind of all-stars relay. Who will be involved in the previously unnamed project is still a secret. Among other things, Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin are said to be in talks.
“Our loyal fans have told us what they want and don’t want to see. We’ve taken that into account. It’s going to be a series that features fan favorites from all seasons past,” the host added.
