Real estate transactions in the Land Department in Dubai amounted to more than 23.1 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed this week recording 2544 pledges of allegiance at a value of 7.1 billion dirhams, including 183 pledges of allegiance to lands at a value of 1.33 billion dirhams, and 2361 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas at a value of 5.77 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 93 million dirhams in the Dubai Maritime City area, followed by a pledge of 76 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 64 million dirhams in the Al Barsha area, south of the second.
The Airport City region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, as it recorded 51 pledges of allegiance at a value of 182 million dirhams, followed by the fifth district of Al-Hubiyah, with 24 pledges of pledge at a value of 59 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale amounted to 65 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area as the most important sale, followed by a sale of 57 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
The Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 280 sales, at a value of 458 million dirhams, followed by Al Barsha, south of the fourth, with 207 sales, at a value of 239 million dirhams.
Mortgages recorded a value of 15.75 billion dirhams, of which 94 mortgages were for land at a value of 14.13 billion dirhams, and 470 mortgages were for villas and apartments at a value of 1.62 billion dirhams, the most important of which was the first industrial area of Jebel Ali at a value of 14 billion dirhams.
As for donations, 121 donations were recorded, with a value of 300.99 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Merkad region, with a value of 73.49 million dirhams.
