Dubai, October 25 / WAM / Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than 1.7 billion dirhams.
The department witnessed the recording of 411 sales worth 1.36 billion dirhams, including 65 sales of land worth 485.85 million dirhams and 346 sales of apartments and villas worth 876.93 million dirhams.
The most important land sales were worth 61.92 million dirhams in the second Al Quoz area, followed by a sale worth 36.51 million dirhams in the first Nad Al Sheba area, followed by a sale worth 34.4 million dirhams in the second Al Quoz area.
The Hind City 4 region topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, recording 21 sales worth 40.26 million dirhams, followed by Al-Habiyah 5, recording 18 sales worth 117.19 million dirhams, and a third in Saih Shuaib 1, recording 5 sales worth 10.1 million dirhams.
Regarding the most important sales of apartments and villas, a sale worth 42.1 million dirhams came in the Al Barsha South Fifth District as the most important sale, followed by a sale worth 26 million dirhams in the third Al Habiyah area, and finally a sale worth 17 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area.
The First Al Habiyah area topped the regions in terms of the number of apartment and villa sales, recording 52 sales worth 131.53 million dirhams, followed by the Dubai Marina area, recording 46 sales worth 139.55 million dirhams, and a third in Al Barsha, South Fourth, recording 22 sales worth 16.3 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 224.86 million dirhams, including 10 land mortgages with a value of 21.37 million dirhams and 111 mortgages for villas and apartments with a value of 203.48 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Wadi Al Safa 7 area with a value of 18.46 million dirhams and another in the Dubai Marina area with a value of 17.02 million dirhams.
As for donations, 29 donations were recorded, worth 115.36 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Naif area, worth 44 million dirhams, and another in the Dubai Marina area, worth 12.43 million dirhams.
