Are your customers from Germany emigrants or investors?
Emigrating to the USA is very complicated, you need a business visa or a green card. Most customers are investors who want to use their house for a few weeks a year for vacation, the rest of the time the properties are then short-term rented out as vacation homes. In this way, at least the running costs are covered, but above all the houses serve as capital investments.
How have your prices developed over the past few years?
We are seeing a significant increase in Cape Coral, which is also shown by the average price, which is determined from all properties sold, from the demolished property to the property to luxury properties. In May 2020, the average was still $ 260,000, now we’ve reached $ 370,000. However, we mainly work in the luxury sector and are well above average.
