The Real Apodaca Club awards its first contract to 9 footballers from the Community Centers team
Real Apodaca Fútbol Club signed the young champions of the 2023 World Challenge, from the Community Centers of the Secretariat of Equality and Inclusion, for the Third Professional Division.
The sports club awarded its first contract as professional footballers to Santiago Enrique Carranza Magaña, Yandel Eduardo Dominguez Mijares, Osvaldo Javier Cortez Mendoza, Nomar Tadeo Luna Contreras, Maicol Alejandro Garcia Mendez, Jean Alexander de Leon Macias, Joseph Camilo Jasso Carranza, Hector Elias Silva Juarez and Omar Alejandro Dominguez Sanchez.
The signing of the contract took place at the facilities of Financiera Altitud, located in the Valle Oriente area, and next week the champions will join the activities of Real Apodaca.
The first soccer team from Nuevo León Community Centers, made up of 11 boys and 2 girls, won the Real Madrid 2023 World Challenge championship, which was attended by more than 600 athletes representing more than 45 countries in the second edition of the tournament held in Madrid, Spain in April 2023.
In February 2024, Jaime Rodríguez, president of Financiera Altitud, accompanied by Martha Herrera, Secretary of Equality and Inclusion, invited the young champions to join Real Apodaca, a club that supports the sporting talent of Community Centers.
After the invitation was confirmed with the signing of the contract, Secretary Martha Herrera expressed her enthusiasm for the achievement of these young people, which shows that dreams do come true.
He stressed that the Secretariat for Equality and Inclusion will continue to work to create conditions of a level playing field of opportunities for all people in the state, without leaving anyone out, without leaving anyone behind.
The young people who are already part of Real Apodaca, carried out a process that began in 2022 when they were selected for the Community Center Neighborhood Tournament and were awarded scholarships to participate in the Real Madrid Foundation clinic, to later represent Nuevo León and Mexico in the World Challenge 2023 where they were champions.
It is worth noting that Ander José Casas Dardón, another of the young champions, signed his contract with Real Apodaca FC last year, after his return from Madrid, while Zaira Alejandra Caballero Juárez already has a contract with Rayados and Brianna Maricela Martínez Yáñez trains for the Tigres team.
The Secretariat for Equality and Inclusion is proud that young footballers are now an example for athletes at Community Centres.
