Solo –
Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka said he was ready to be investigated and ready to be arrested regarding the report at the KPK by UNJ lecturer Ubedillah Badrun. Will Gibran make a report back?
When asked about the possibility of reporting back, Gibran admitted that he did not have such a plan. Instead, he asked Ubedillah Badrun’s report to be proven first.
“Here’s why you report back (why do you have to report back)? It’s been reported, it’s been proven. If I’m wrong, just arrest me,” said Gibran at Solo City Hall, Tuesday (11/1/2022).
If yesterday Gibran admitted that he still had to ask Kaesang regarding the case, today Gibran claimed to have communicated with Kaesang.
“Wis (already communicated with Kaesang),” answered Gibran briefly.
Gibran also reiterated that he was ready to be examined and invited the reporter to provide evidence. Even Gibran is ready to be arrested if he is guilty.
“The report is in, right? Just check it. If I’m wrong, arrest me (if I’m wrong, catch me) right now,” he said.
Previously reported, UNJ lecturer Ubedillah Badrun reported two sons of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Kaesang Pangarep, to the KPK regarding allegations of corruption and money laundering.
In his report, Ubedillah also referred to himself as a student activist for the ’98 reform. In addition, Ubedillah included documents explaining his allegations. He related that the PT BMH company owned by the PT SM business group was involved in a forest fire case but the handling of the case was not clear.
Then on the other hand, the business group called Ubedillah invested in companies owned by Kaesang and Gibran. Ubedillah also linked the business affair with a company case whose legal investigation was unclear due to a conflict of interest. In addition, he linked him to a figure associated with the business group who became the Indonesian ambassador.
