Todesfelde – After VfB Oldenburg suffered a defeat in Norderstedt last week, they were amazed at the start of the 2nd match day in the Regional League North about the second surprise. SV Meppen lost 1-0 to newly promoted Kickers Emden in front of a record crowd and can confidently say that it was a false start.

Havelse kommt

A victory would have been SV Todesfelde almost made it in its first game, but lost 2-1 to third division relegated team VfB Lübeck through an own goal. That shouldn’t happen again, and certainly not in its home debut. The Oberliga champions will host TSV Havelse on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Tofe relies on offense

“First regional league appearance in the JODA sports park. We as a team, the fans and the whole club are highly motivated and of course want to score points. With Havelse we can expect an extremely strong running and tackling team that acts very coolly. They showed impressively against Werder that they can also use different facets in their game when they turned a 1:3 deficit in the second half. We still have to learn quickly and implement the lessons from the Lübeck game. We have to be wide awake for 90 minutes. Second balls will play a big role and here we have to be ready to keep spaces tight as a team. Also be brave with the ball and bring our offensive strength onto the pitch,” promises coach Dirk Hellmann at HL-SPORTS.

Klüver not present in opening game after injury

Noah Awuku, Dustin Thiel, Pawel Erfmann and Niklas Sabas will also be missing. Mats Klüver is also not fit enough to play due to ankle problems. He injured himself last week at the Lohmühle. Marco Drawz reported back during the week and is ready for action.
