Victory for Henderson & co

Nottingham Forest cleared the relegation zone after winning 1-0 away to bottom-of-the-table Southampton.

Dean Henderson he was as usual in goal for Forest, and actually had a fairly uneventful day’s work, even in times when Southampton had the initiative. He sorted out perfectly OK when he was supposed to be in action, apart from some entertaining involvement with the ball at his feet, and is probably quite happy with keeping a clean sheet.

Darren Ferguson in Peterborough – again!

Peterborough United have sacked Grant McCann for the second time and confirmed at the same time that they have brought on ex-red Darren Ferguson as manager for the rest of the season.

This is the fourth (!) time Peterborough has taken on Darren Ferguson as manager. He has been promoted four times with the club in the past. It won’t be easy to do it again, because Peterborough has five points until the playoffs, and also played one more game.
